Fork Union Military Academy is pleased to announce that the 2025 Military Ball will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1800 hours in the Library. This time-honored event is one of the Academy’s most cherished traditions, dating back to the inaugural Military Ball on April 12, 1969.

The Military Ball is a highlight of the school year, bringing together cadets for an evening of camaraderie, tradition, and celebration. The event will feature the iconic Arch of Sabres at the entrance, adding to the grandeur and formality of the occasion.

Who Can Attend?

All junior, senior, and postgraduate cadets with an exemplary discipline record are invited to attend.

Purchase Tickets for the 2025 Military Ball

Cadets must indicate whether they are bringing a date when purchasing tickets. Those without a date need not worry—Fork Union Military Academy will be inviting young ladies from Virginia’s all-girls schools to attend as guests.

Dress Code

• FUMA Cadets: Class A Uniform
• Ladies: Formal evening attire (full-length or knee-length dresses preferred). Dresses must not be low-cut, high-slit, or excessively tight-fitting.

This is a formal event, and appropriate attire is required for entry. Please ensure your date is aware of the dress code guidelines.
