In a celebratory ceremony held in Wicker Chapel this past Sunday, Fork Union Military Academy's Commandant of Cadets, GySgt Charlie Coulter, announced the cadet leaders for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Battalion Staff is composed of 10 cadets, led by Battalion Commander c/LTC Nicholas Coleman. Coleman, a senior who has been enrolled at the Academy since the eighth grade, is the son of Brian and Jennifer Coleman of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Coleman’s staff includes:

• c/MAJ Colton Childers: Battalion Executive Officer, senior, fifth year at the Academy, son of Jeff Richardson and Brie Richardson of Annapolis, Maryland.
• c/CSM Yannick McLean: Command Sergeant Major, senior, fourth year at the Academy, son of Avery and Sheena McLean of White Plains, Maryland.
• c/CPT Andres Olalla Casas: Battalion S-1 (Adjutant Officer), senior, second year at the Academy, son of Ricardo Olalla Guerra and Maria Casas Lopez of Madrid, Spain.
• c/CPT Erkhes Tsogtgerel: Battalion S-2 (Provost Officer), senior, second year at the Academy, son of Bat-Erdene Tsogtgerel and Khunbish Byambasuren of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
• c/CPT Robert Callahan: Battalion S-3 (Operations Officer), senior, fifth year at the Academy, son of Christine Spiak and James Callahan of Greer, South Carolina.
• c/CPT Elijah Hunt: Battalion S-4 (Logistics Officer), senior, third year at the Academy, son of Rebecca and George Hunt of Mechanicsville, Virginia.
• c/2LT Gabriel Keener: Battalion Assistant S-4 (Logistics Officer), junior, fourth year at the Academy, son of Erik and Ashley Keener of Raleigh, North Carolina.
• c/CPT Nhan Hoang: Battalion S-5/6 (PAO/Recruiting Officer), senior, third year at the Academy, son of Tuan Hoang and Huong Nguyen of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
• c/CPT Zaden Cottam: Battalion S-7 (New Cadet Training Officer), senior, third year at the Academy, son of Dale and Tamara Cottam of Thayne, Wyoming.
