On Tuesday evening, Fork Union Military Academy proudly celebrated the promotion of 21 seventh-grade cadets to the eighth-On Tuesday evening, Fork Union Military Academy proudly celebrated the promotion of 27 Charlie Company cadets during a special ceremony held in Wicker Chapel.

Charlie Company TAC Instructor TJ Van Alstyne led the ceremony with the support of Charlie Company Commander Mikhael Kleiman-Deicas.

The following cadets were officially promoted to the eighth grade:

• Privates: Jamel Harper, John Keck (Chaplain/Laundry Detail), Haoxi Li, Paxton Morton, Jackson Ott, Marcelo Perez Diaz De Sandi, Marcus Singleton, Preston Thompson, Liam Tighe, Keen Wang, and Leen Wang
• Privates First Class: Bryson Kelly (Dining Hall Detail), John-Matthew Okolo (1st Platoon Squad Leader), Alonzo Painter (2nd Platoon Squad Leader), Colin Perrel (2nd Platoon Assistant Squad Leader), Carter Stout (2nd Platoon Squad Leader), Landon Theilka, Robert Hay, Josiah Cruz (Detail Assistant), and Austin Hayes (1st Platoon Squad Leader)
• Corporals: Preston Inman, Joshua Kuimba (Company Clerk), and Braden Ferguson
• Staff Sergeants: Joseph Bishop (Company Corpsman), Prince Kajwengye (1st Platoon Squad Leader), and James Yu (1st Platoon Sergeant)
• Sergeant: Fidevin Igiraneza (2nd Platoon Squad Leader)
