Fork Union Military Academy proudly announces that the Class of 2026 has achieved a remarkable milestone: 100% college acceptance, with every senior earning admission to a two-year or four-year institution or securing a defined post-secondary pathway.
With decisions still pending from several institutions, the Class of 2026 has already been awarded an impressive $8,071,371 in scholarships, including academic merit, ROTC awards, and service academy appointments. This marks the highest total recorded since 2020, when the Academy began formally tracking scholarship data.
“This is an exceptional group of young men who have embraced the challenge of the One Subject Plan and taken full advantage of the opportunities available to them,” said Kelsey Hill, Director of College Placement and Academic Services. “Their success reflects not only their hard work, but also the strength of the academic program and the individualized support they receive throughout their time at Fork Union Military Academy.”
The 45-member senior class has collectively earned more than 125 college acceptances, demonstrating both the depth and breadth of their academic pursuits.
Among the class:
Four seniors who have already submitted enrollment deposits to Savannah College of Art and Design, James Madison University, Houghton University, and Hampden-Sydney College have secured a combined $286,000 in merit scholarships, further underscoring the strength of the Academy’s college preparation.
At Fork Union Military Academy, success is defined not only by college acceptance, but by preparing young men for meaningful futures, whether that path leads to a university, military service, or a skilled trade.
The Class of 2026 exemplifies this mission, with graduates pursuing a wide range of opportunities that reflect both their individual goals and the Academy’s commitment to developing the whole person: Body, Mind, and Spirit.
National Decision Day, held annually on May 1, marks the deadline for students across the country to commit to their post-secondary institution. Fork Union will celebrate the Class of 2026’s decisions at a later date, allowing the Academy community to fully recognize their accomplishments.
