A group of Charlie Company cadets enjoyed an unforgettable night of high-energy activities and spiritual impact at Reverb Roanoke 2025, one of the nation’s premier all-night youth evangelistic events. Nearly 1,000 students from across the region gathered at the Berglund Center for a night filled with excitement, community, and powerful moments of faith.
Led by Charlie TAC Officer TJ Van Alstyne, the cadets joined teens from across Virginia for an action-packed evening that began with a major arena event and continued with hours of crowd games, competitions, and late-night activities ranging from laser tag and go-karts to bowling, inflatables, arcades, and athletic games.
Reverb’s signature feature of a dynamic Gospel message and invitation proved deeply meaningful. Event leaders reported 29 salvations and 19 rededications among all participants, including six Fork Union cadets who made personal commitments to Jesus during the program.
“This event was overflowing with joy, energy, and fun,” said Van Alstyne. “We praise God for the decisions our cadets made, and I’m incredibly grateful to CPT Black, the Commandant’s Department, and all the coaches who supported this initiative. Reverb 2025 was incredible, and I plan on taking a crew every year!”
Reverb, hosted by Word of Life, is widely recognized as one of the most impactful evangelistic youth events in the country. Its mission is simple: share the Gospel with unsaved teenagers through an engaging, high-energy environment filled with games, prizes, and nonstop overnight activities.
For Fork Union cadets, the night offered not only fun and fellowship but a meaningful opportunity for spiritual growth, which was an experience that will stay with them long after the lights of the arena faded.
