The Fork Union Military Academy's Faculty and Staff nominate those who have exceeded the standards and demonstrated superlative performance to be recognized for it.  While we have various awards and recognitions, a simple “Well Done!” we know, is also appreciated.  The combination of the Bravo and Zulu nautical signal flags, i.e., Bravo Zulu, also referred to as "BZ," is a naval signal, typically conveyed by flag hoist or voice radio, meaning "Well Done" with regard to actions, operations, or performance.  The following are the Bravo Zulu awards for 12 April 2024:

Cadet Matthias Moyer did a sterling job during the Prospective Student Open House event on Wednesday, 10 April. He was authentic and led his tour group around with poise and leadership. Cadet Moyer took the extra time to meet with family members and answer questions they had after the tour. He demonstrated the utmost respect and care for our visitors. Bravo Zulu, Cadet Moyer!

Go FUMA!
