Greetings from a very busy Fork Union Military Academy campus!
This summer we have had basketball campers here from around the area enjoying sports, games, friends, safety, and some great coaching. We are hosting with our facilities the US Marine Corps MCJROTC Summer Camps with hundreds of outstanding high school JROTC students from around the country participating in Leadership, Aviation, and Cyber programs. We have summer school students attending our own four-week summer session from around the nation and several countries, and many of them have also registered for fall term.Â
I'm so proud of FUMA and that we can have all of these children on campus and, either directly or through the Holy Spirit moving in His way, that all children have an inspired experience.
Parents tell me they would have enrolled their son sooner if they knew there was a Christian, military-style, boys only, college prep school in rural Virginia. Well, we're here and have been for 125 years. There are other good schools like ours, but we are truly unique in how we approach the development, education, and inspiration of the young men at FUMA. It works and it has worked for over a century.

We have maintained our unique One Subject Plan since 1950, which helps the boys focus by studying just one course per term. There are clubs, sports, and electives infused into the day, but the One Subject Plan has proven very successful for academic achievement.
Of those students who join FUMA in the middle of their high school years and then graduate from FUMA, we've found that the average GPA increase has been better than 1.2 grade points in overall GPA. That's incredible!
We set the conditions for the students to learn, grow, and achieve positive educational outcomes. With full accreditation, advanced diplomas, AP, Honors, Dual Enrollment courses providing college credits, the facts are indisputable: We are a path to success for those who graduate FUMA.

Our alumni tell our story and it's real. I'm very proud to be part of the FUMA Family. Our foundation is strong because it's built on the Rock of our faith in God.
