The weather has been severely hot and humid this week on campus. We are in the "dog days" of summer and summer school. We have an organized and very strict schedule each day. The boys are developed, educated, and inspired. The Aquatics Center in the afternoon is a favorite for swimming, diving, water basketball, and fellowship.

Last night, the Academy's President Colonel David Coggins provided ice cream after dinner for the students in the Social Center. A few came early and reserved their seats in the massage chairs.

"Chilling with the President which includes ice cream and massage chairs in our air-conditioned Social Center after a hot day is nice," said Coggins. "Positive reinforcement and a chance for me to meet these wonderful boys is leadership and fulfilling. We'll finish summer school soon and I hope they remember well what we learned in our time together. I am proud of our boys."

It is safe to say the Nutty Butty Sundae Cone is still the most popular ice cream treat at FUMA!

Summer School wraps up on Saturday, August 5 after the final exams at 11:30 AM.
