Dean's List membership is achieved by students who receive no grade lower than an A- in any course taken during the full school year. Five cadets in the Middle School and six Upper School cadets were named to the Dean's List for the entire 2017-2018 academic year at Fork Union Military Academy. Honor Roll membership is achieved by students earning no grade less than a B- in any course taken during this school year. To earn recognition as an Honor Graduate, a graduating cadet must have attended Fork Union Military Academy for at least two full years, and have a cumulative weighted grade point average of 3.5 or higher, combined with an overall conduct level of Commendable or Exemplary his junior year and Exemplary to date during his senior year. Sixty-five seniors from at least a dozen states and a half-dozen countries crossed the stage at Fork Union Military Academy this morning to receive their high school diplomas at the conclusion of the school's 119th academic session. Cadet Shereef Alkhateeb was awarded the John J. Wicker Religious Studies Award as the cadet with the best academic performance in Religious Studies class this year. Cadet Alkhateeb, a junior, is the son of Samy Korched of Rego Park, New York. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since September 2015 when he enrolled as a freshman. Dr. John J.
