In a celebratory ceremony held in Wicker Chapel last Tuesday, Fork Union Military Academy's Commandant of Cadets, GySgt Charlie Coulter, announced the cadet leaders for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ceremony followed the Academy’s inaugural "Crucible" event, which capped off a weeklong Cadet Leadership Training (CLT) program.

Cadet Leadership Training is an intensive program designed to develop the leadership skills, teamwork, and resilience of our cadets. Throughout the week, cadets participated in a series of challenging activities that tested their physical endurance and mental fortitude. The training culminated in the Crucible, a rigorous final event that brought together all the skills and lessons learned during the week.

"By the end of CLT, cadets emerged with a renewed sense of confidence, leadership, and a deepened bond with their peers, ready to take on future challenges with the strength and determination instilled by this transformative experience," said GySgt Coulter.

Following the Crucible, cadets enjoyed a "Warriors Dinner" under the pavilion at Pruett Pond and concluded the evening with the Battalion and Company Staff promotions ceremony in Wicker Chapel.
