This ceremony marks an important milestone in your cadet’s journey and recognizes the achievement and pride that come with earning the right to wear the Fork Union Military Academy class ring.

Parents of freshmen and sophomores! Registration is now open for the PSAT 10, an optional practice exam designed to help cadets prepare for the PSAT/NMSQT and future SAT testing.

The PSAT 10 is a great way for cadets to become familiar with the test format and build confidence ahead of junior year testing. (Scores are not sent to colleges.)

Registration must be completed through the PSAT 10 Microsoft Form provided by the Academy. Late registrations cannot be accepted.
Please note that Saturday, February 21, 2026, will be a Saturday Class Day to make up for recent snow days. Classes will run from 0900–1230, and day students must be signed in by 0815.
Re-enrollment contracts are now available in Clarity. You should have received an email from the Admissions Office detailing what is required to re-enroll your cadet. The deadline for re-enrollment is April 1. For questions about the re-enrollment process, please contact admissions@fuma.org.
As a reminder, the next Major Leave is Spring Break and is scheduled for Thursday, March 5-Monday, March 16. All cadets must depart campus for Spring Break. Spring Break Leave Requests are due in Orah by Friday, February 6. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about Spring Break.
For the safety and security of our cadets and campus community, independent delivery services such as Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and similar vendors are not authorized to deliver on campus. All outside deliveries must follow the Academy’s approved procedures and be coordinated through the Quartermaster. Unscheduled or unauthorized drop-offs create safety and logistical concerns and will not be permitted.
Please ensure that any items your cadet needs are sent through commercial parcel carriers such as UPS and FedEx.

Dear Sophomore & Freshmen Parents,
We are excited to announce that registration for the PSAT 10 is now open. This test is being offered exclusively to sophomores and freshmen and is an excellent opportunity to help prepare your cadet for the PSAT/NMSQT, which is a required test for juniors in October of their junior year.
Key Details:
The PSAT 10 is optional and designed to familiarize students with the test format as part of their preparation for the SAT. Please note that PSAT 10 scores are not reported to colleges and are not scored the same as the SAT.
