The Fork Union Military Academy Quiz Bowl team delivered an impressive performance this past weekend at the 2nd Annual Richmond Area Independent Schools Quiz Bowl Invitational, hosted by St. Catherine’s School. Competing in nine rounds of Round Robin-style matchups, the team faced off against top contenders from Collegiate, St. Catherine’s, St. Christopher’s, Trinity Episcopal, and St. Anne’s Belfield.

Led by Team Captain Nicholas Coleman, alongside Mason Ng, Andres Olalla-Casas, and Jonah Brown, Fork Union posted a 6-3 record, earning a three-way tie for first place and securing a second-place overall finish based on points. Coleman also received individual recognition as one of the tournament’s All-Stars for his standout performance.

This strong showing builds on the team’s momentum from their second-place finish at the Fall Tournament at VMI, proving once again that Fork Union is a force to be reckoned with in Quiz Bowl competitions.
