The Interact Club Partners with Fluvanna to Host a Meal Packing Event

The Fork Union Military Academy Interact Club, in conjunction with the Fluvanna County High School Interact Club, are teaming up to host a meal packing event starting at 1:30pm Friday, April 22nd, at the FLUCO High School Auxiliary Gym.

The Interact Club is asking for your support for this event. By committing to help us end world hunger, you can make an impact that extends far beyond the borders of Fluvanna County. Since 2020, COVID-19 has escalated food insecurity for people already at risk. Your participation in this event will ensure they continue to exercise their human right to freedom from hunger. The meals the clubs will package are loaded with nutrition to support healthy immune systems, promote cognitive development in children, stimulate economies and empower entire communities to thrive.

You can help in two ways:

  1. Attend the event to help pack the meals
  1. If you are unable to physically attend, you can make a donation.

The Clubs have committed to $5,000 so far.  Every dollar provides a meal for four.  Can you help? Click on this link to register/donate:  http://events.riseagainsthunger.org/RotaryFluvanna2022
