All cadets will be able to depart campus for the weekend on Friday, February 13, 2026. Leave begins after athletic practice/requirements at approximately 4:30 PM. Leave ends for all cadets on Sunday, February 15, 2026. All cadets must sign-in by 7:00 PM.

Please note: FUMA Transportation is not available during regular leave weekends. Only cadets with satisfactory conduct and above will be eligible to depart.

We would like to invite you to our Admissions Open House on the campus of Fork Union Military Academy on Monday, February 16, from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm.

You will be able to go on a cadet-led tour of our campus, participate in an information session to learn more about the Academy, speak directly with members of our admissions team to get answers to all of your questions and enjoy lunch in our dining facility.

The schedule of events is as follows:

0845-0900 – Arrival to Wicker Chapel

0915 – Fork Union Military Academy Information Session

0915 – Campus Tours (Prospective students will go on a cadet-led campus tour. Parents and/or guardians will tour campus)

1130 – Tours end at Estes Dining Hall

1130 – Lunch (Several members of our Faculty/Staff and Admissions Team will also be with you at lunch.)

1200 – Admission Interviews at Beatty Library—Following lunch, you and your son will have the opportunity to complete your admission interview

Cadets who are in the winning company for Term 3 are eligible for a leave weekend. All leave requests must be submitted through Orah.
