Fork Union Military Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Alleva Taylor as the Director of Advancement. Taylor brings with her a wealth of experience in marketing and philanthropy at non-profit organizations, making her an invaluable addition to the Academy’s leadership team.
With a proven record of accomplishment of success, Taylor specializes in motivational, change-making messaging in targeted campaigns. Among her many accomplishments, she has created and executed strategic plans resulting in over $11 million raised for regional 501(c)(3) organizations. Her expertise in directing and implementing marketing plans has resulted in over $70 million in sales.
“Ann Taylor’s extensive background in advancement and her impressive track record in fundraising and marketing make her the perfect fit for Fork Union Military Academy,” said President CAPT Mark Black. “We are confident that her innovative approach and dedication will help us achieve our goals and further our mission.”
Taylor’s recent professional experience includes her roles as the Director of Advancement at Child Health Partnership, Director of Marketing and Philanthropy at the Botanical Garden of Piedmont in Charlottesville and the Indian River Land Trust in Vero Beach, Florida.
Prior to her time at Indian River Land Trust, Taylor spent over 25 years in Advertising and Marketing for fortune 500 companies.
Taylor is a graduate of Sweet Briar College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration.
