On Tuesday morning, Fork Union Military Academy proudly celebrated the promotion of 12 seventh-grade cadets to the eighth-grade One-Subject Plan during a special ceremony held inside Wicker Chapel.

The ceremony marked an important milestone in the academic and personal growth of these young cadets as they prepare to continue their journey at the Academy. Family members, faculty, staff, and fellow cadets gathered to recognize the hard work, discipline, and perseverance demonstrated throughout the school year.

The program featured an encouraging address from Academic Dean COL Brian Bodine, a moving violin performance of “FUMA Men Are We” by Tyler Hill, the presentation of promotion certificates, and closing remarks from President CAPT Mark Black as he challenged the cadets to continue striving for excellence in the years ahead.
