On Tuesday morning, Fork Union Military Academy proudly celebrated the promotion of 21 seventh-grade cadets to the eighth-grade One-Subject Plan during a special ceremony held in Wicker Chapel.

The event marked an important milestone for these young cadets as they prepare to continue their academic journey at the Academy. The ceremony featured an encouraging address from Academic Dean COL Brian Bodine, a beautiful violin performance of “FUMA Men Are We” by Tyler Hill, the presentation of promotion certificates, a heartfelt video message from faculty and staff, and a farewell speech by President CAPT Mark Black.
