Dear Parents,
As we approach the end of the 2025–2026 academic year, we would like to share several important reminders regarding end-of-year events, academic course requests, and package pickup procedures.
To assist families during our upcoming ceremonies and events, we have designated parking zones across campus for specific end-of-year activities. Please review the parking map prior to arriving on campus.

3:00 PM | Senior Day Parade | Stadium Field | Parking: Zone 1 & Zone 5 | Mandatory for all Day Students

Families of rising 9th–12th grade cadets will receive Academic Course Request information for the 2026–2027 school year via email no later than June 5.
Please note that all course requests are tentative at this time, as the Academy’s master schedule will not be finalized until the end of July. Families will receive finalized schedules, including term placement for each course, at the beginning of August.
Please note that summer storage will be limited this year. Priority storage consideration will be given to returning cadets who require flights to and from campus.
Parents who plan to pick up their cadet from campus at the end of the year should plan to take all belongings home with them.
As we approach the end of the school year, we kindly ask families and cadets to ensure that all packages are scheduled to arrive on or before Wednesday, May 20, and are picked up by Thursday, May 21.
If you anticipate that an order will not arrive by this date, please consider having it shipped directly to your home address instead of campus. Any packages remaining unclaimed after departure will be forwarded to the cadet’s home of record at the family’s expense.
This is also a good time to update shipping addresses on Amazon and other online accounts to ensure future deliveries are sent home rather than to Fork Union Military Academy.
Thank you for your continued support as we prepare to celebrate the accomplishments of our cadets and close another successful school year.
Best regards,
Kelly Barnette
