West Point is hosting its annual Summer STEM Workshops for students in 6th through 9th grade, offering an immersive, hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math! This is an incredible opportunity for cadets to explore the West Point Academy grounds, experience cadet life, and engage in exciting STEM activities.
Workshop topics include: Human Physiology, Fuel Cell Cars, Propellants, Robotics, Cantilevers, Soldering Circuits, Fish Biodiversity, Water Chemistry, Meteorology, Egg Drop Engineering, and Data Analytics and more!

The 2025 Military Ball will take place on Saturday, April 26, at 1800 hours in the Library. This long-standing tradition is open to all junior and senior cadets for an evening of celebration and camaraderie. Tickets are $25 per individual or $40 per couple. For cadets without a date, we are coordinating with Virginia all-girls schools to invite guests.

This session will provide valuable insights into the benefits of continuing your cadet’s journey at Fork Union next year.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Dodge Meritorious Scholarship Competition is now open to cadets in grades 9-11! This prestigious competition offers cadets the chance to earn a partial scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year by showcasing their research and writing skills.
To participate, cadets must submit a 3-5 page research paper on a topic related to either the Constitution or an important event in American history. Papers must include both primary and secondary sources.
Key Deadlines:
A committee of teachers will evaluate the submissions, and the winner will be announced at the End of Year Awards Ceremony.
This is a fantastic opportunity for cadets to deepen their understanding of history, strengthen their academic skills, and earn recognition for their hard work. We encourage all eligible cadets to take advantage of this scholarship opportunity!
If your cadet is interested, please encourage them to speak with their academic advisor as soon as possible.
As the weather turns colder, we want to remind you that the only approved undergarment for all uniforms during the winter season is white long johns. If your cadet needs an extra layer of clothing under the uniform of the day, white long johns are the only acceptable option. Please note that sweatpants, or any other non-uniform items, are not permitted under Class A & Class B pants.
To ensure compliance, please make sure your cadet has a pair of white long johns prior to his return to campus. If needed, you may ship them to campus using the following address:
