Day Student Reminders

Please review the following updates to help your cadet start the year smoothly:

Arrival Time:
All Day Students should arrive at the Commandants Department by 0715 to sign in each class day. Please note that all Day Students must be signed in before 0715. If your cadet will arrive late for any reason, please email absent@fuma.org with the reason.  

Departure Time:
Day Students are released from campus after their athletic commitments each day. While practice schedules vary, most teams finish practice around 5:00 PM.

Day Student Parking:
All Day Students who drive themselves to campus must see Ms. White to complete a Parking Pass slip. Passes will be laminated and returned to the cadets once issued. Day Student Parking will be located in the field near the outdoor basketball courts and Infirmary. Keys and cell phones must be turned in when signing in before 0715. Day Student cars are off-limits during the school day. 

Uniform of the Day:
The Uniform of the Day for each class day is Class B. If your Day Student has not yet received their Class B uniform, they may wear PTs until their full uniform is issued. All uniforms will be issued by Monday, August 25.

For tomorrow (Aug 21) and Friday (Aug 22), the Uniform of the Day is PTs: gray athletic shirt, blue athletic shorts, socks, and sneakers. 

Please note, the Class B Summer Uniform consists of: Garrison Cap, gray trousers, gray short-sleeve shirt (open collar), black shoes, black socks, black belt, and insignia of rank. 

We recommend that all Day Students keep a set of each uniform in their barracks room, so they are prepared in case of any changes to the Uniform of the Day. 

Saturday Class Days:
Each term will include a Saturday class, beginning with this Saturday, August 23. Classes start at 0900 on Saturdays, and Day Students must be signed in by 0815. Day Students may depart campus after class concludes at 1230 on Saturday.
