All Day Students who are participating in the Inauguration Parade must be on campus Sunday, January 12 at 1 PM for Drill Practice. Practice will last until 4 PM on Sunday.

We want to make you aware of a recent cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, the vendor for our Student Information System. While Fork Union Military Academy does not store sensitive information like Social Security Numbers or detailed medical records in PowerSchool, the incident has impacted some of our families and educators. PowerSchool is addressing the issue and will provide resources as needed. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this situation.
As we begin Christmas Break, we now look towards our next Major Leave which is Spring Break that is scheduled for Friday, March 7-Sunday, March 16. All cadets must depart campus for Spring Break. Spring Break Leave Requests are due in Orah by Friday, February 7.
The ASVAB test registration information has been sent by Mrs. Kelsey Hill. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be administered at Fork Union Military Academy on January 23 at 1:00 PM. Juniors, seniors, and postgraduates are eligible to sit for the test, which is free for the family. For any questions regarding the ASVAB Test at FUMA, please email Mrs. Hill at hillk@fuma.org.
Registration for the Junior Workshop is now open until January 24. This workshop is strictly for Juniors and runs for Term 4 and Term 5. It includes 21 sessions of SAT Test Prep, College Application Prep, and scheduled College Visits. This workshop is an additional fee of $345, and a cadet must be registered to participate. As the weather turns colder, we want to remind you that the only approved undergarment for all uniforms during the winter season is white long johns. If your cadet needs an extra layer of clothing under the uniform of the day, white long johns are the only acceptable option. Please note that sweatpants, or any other non-uniform items, are not permitted under Class A & Class B pants.
Please note: if your cadet is marching in the Inauguration Parade, he must have a pair of white long johns.
