As you prepare for your cadet's arrival in August, we want to share the updated Cadet Handbook, also known as the Blue Book, and Contraband List for the 2025-2026 academic year. We've received many questions about what items are allowed on campus, and this information is designed to help your family pack appropriately and avoid bringing unauthorized items.
Please review the Contraband List carefully with your cadet before check-in. It outlines items that are strictly prohibited, including specific electronics, personal items, and appliances. Any contraband found will be confiscated and mailed home.
The Blue Book includes additional details on Academy policies, daily expectations, uniform guidelines, and much more. Reviewing both documents will help ensure a smooth check-in process and set your cadet up for success.
