Academic Schedule Update from College Placement & Academic Services

As we prepare for the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, we want to share some important information regarding your cadet’s academic schedule.

Fork Union Military Academy is currently in session for Summer Academy, which will officially conclude on Saturday, July 26. Following the end of the summer session, our academic team will need approximately one week to transition PowerSchool from summer to the upcoming school year. During this time, PowerSchool will be temporarily unavailable to families.

Beginning the week of August 5, our academic advisors will start reviewing and finalizing schedules for all cadets. This process includes a careful review of each cadet’s transcripts, course placements, and graduation requirements. Once finalized, schedules will be sent via email. You can expect to receive your cadet’s academic schedule beginning in mid-August.

Important for First-Year Families:
If you have not yet submitted a signed, official transcript from your cadet’s previous school, please reach out to the school’s registrar to have it sent directly to Fork Union. We cannot complete course placement without this documentation.
