Greetings from Fork Union Military Academy!
I hope this email finds you well. I'm excited to share that starting this week, I will be sending out a weekly parent update every Friday to keep you informed and connected as we move through the academic year.
This week marks the first official parent update since we welcomed our selected leadership cadets and football cadets to campus this past Wednesday. It has been wonderful having cadets back on campus, and we are eagerly anticipating the start of classes on Thursday, August 29.
In this update, I have included important information to help guide you through the next two weeks as we prepare for the start of the school year. Please take a moment to review the details below.
Cadets will not have access to phones or email throughout the next two weeks. If you are in need of getting in contact with your cadet, please contact the Commandant's Department if you need immediate communication with your cadet.

The best way to contact your cadet is through letters and packages. The information to send a package can be found below:
The best way to stay connected with your son for the next several weeks, believe it or not, is by mail! Please allow the Academy time to set up your son's email and room phones. In the meantime, you can use the addresses below for sending mail and packages to your cadet:

All postgraduate football players are in Delta Company.
For all prep football players, please use Prep Football for the Company Name until Tuesday, August 20 when the team gets dispersed into their specific company for the academic year.

FUMA Athletics also offers a mobile app! Follow the link to download the FUMA Athletics App for all updates including, news stories, rosters, and schedule changes. The app allows you to receive direct messages on all schedule updates and changes, so please allow push notifications in your settings.
