Military Ball

We are excited to announce the date for the 2024 Military Ball. The Military Ball is one of the Academy's most cherished traditions dating back to the first Military Ball held on April 12, 1969, and has long been a major highlight of the school year.

All cadet juniors, seniors, and postgraduates with an exemplary discipline record are invited to attend.

Please mark your calendar for Saturday, April 13, 2024. The event will start at 1700 hours at the Library for a meet and greet, and then a procession at 1745 hours through the Arch of Sabres into the Social Center.

You must indicate whether you are bringing a date or not. Do not worry if you do not have a date! We will be inviting young ladies from the Virginia all-girls school to attend as our guests.

The cost is $25 per individual or $40 per couple.

If you do not RSVP on time or purchase your ticket(s) by the deadline, you will be moved to a wait list. 

Dress attire will be Class A Uniforms for FUMA cadets and formal evening dress attire for the ladies. This is a formal event, so please let your date know that improper attire will not be permitted. Full to knee length dresses are preferred with no low-cut, high-slit, excessively tight-fitting dresses.
