How to Apply to Summer School

The process for applying to Summer School is the same as it is for admission to the regular academic year.

If you have already submitted an application for Fall enrollment, please contact the Admissions Office to have your application considered for Summer School.

You do not have to complete a separate application for Summer School enrollment if one is already on file for the regular academic year.

As part of the application process, in addition to a campus visit and interview, you will be asked to submit the following:

  • Application
  • Character Questionnaire
  • English Teacher Recommendation
  • Math Teacher Recommendation
  • Complete Transcript of Student’s Academic Record

Once all application materials are received by the Academy, the Admissions Office will notify the applicant of the acceptance decision.

Upon receipt of the reservation fee to confirm enrollment, the Academy will mail the necessary enrollment materials: basic regulations, a medical form and parent permission forms for leaves and activities.

The medical form indicates that the student must have a physical examination prior to reporting and a record of all immunizations required by the Virginia State Health Department.
