Statistics is the science of conducting studies to collect, organize, summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from data. This is a beginning statistics course for students whose mathematical background is limited to basic algebra. This course uses a non-theoretical approach in which concepts are explained intuitively and supported by numerous examples. There are no formal proofs in the course. The course emphasizes of the TI -84 series calculator.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra II.
