The Early College Scholars Program

Fork Union Military Academy offers qualified students the opportunity to enroll in our Early College Scholars Program, made possible through our partnership with Richard Bland College of William and Mary.  Through this partnership, students may earn their A.S. Degree at a substantially reduced rate for both in state and out of state residents.  Those who successfully complete the course of study earn an Associate of Science Degree while also earning their high school diploma.  The credits earned through obtaining this degree are transferable to nearly all colleges and universities nationwide.

Students can enter the Early College Scholars program at the beginning of their junior or senior year.  For those entering as juniors, the last two years of high school will be spent earning the 60 college credits required to obtain the A.S. Degree, while also satisfying the requirements to graduate from Fork Union Military Academy.  Those who enter as seniors will receive their Academy diploma at the conclusion of the first year of study, and their A.S. Degree at the conclusion of the 2nd year.
