Honors Geometry

The Honors Geometry course is designed to offer a more challenging approach to the material presented in a traditional Euclidean Geometry class. Basic Algebra I properties are reinforced and expanded as the students use algebra to master the new concepts introduced in geometry. Logical reasoning, both inductive and deductive, is encouraged with the development of proofs and in the application of geometry in solving real life application problems. Completion of Algebra I with a grade of A or B+ is a prerequisite for the course.
