Body, Mind, & Spirit Scholarship

This grant is a merit-based award of $5,000 which will be applied toward tuition at FUMA. The student must be a first-time applicant seeking enrollment in grades 7th-11th with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Body, Mind, & Spirit Scholarship grant will be given in addition to any other financial assistance that the family may qualify to receive.

This is a one-time grant for one academic year.

• $5,000 towards tuition

• First-time applicant to Fork Union Military Academy
• Enrolling in 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade
• GPA equivalent of 3.0 or higher
• Demonstrated excellence in character, integrity, and honor

1. Applicants must submit the Fork Union Military Academy application along with all required documentation from their current school (such as transcript and recommendation forms).
2. Applicants must complete the application and video submission for the Body, Mind, & Spirit Scholarship.

• The application must be received by the submission deadline in order for it to be reviewed by the selection committee.
• The winner will be contacted by the Director of Enrollment Management, Mrs. Jackie Montero-Sharpe.

A video submission is required to apply for this scholarship. In the video, the applicant must explain why he embodies Fork Union Military Academy's motto of Body, Mind, and Spirit. 

• It must be between 3- to 5-minutes long.
• We encourage applicants to express their creativity through their video content.

Applicants may upload their video to either YouTube or Vimeo (video may be unlisted or public) and include the URL link to the video in their online submitted application form below.

The deadline to submit your application and video for the 2024-2025 school year is March 29, 2024.
