It’s amazing how my life has changed over the course of the year. I was this undisciplined, punk teenager. My entire life used to revolve around music, and now getting into college is what is on my mind. My grades sucked because I never did homework and now I’ve made honor roll almost all year. I somehow lost my former being within Fork Union Military Academy. But that’s not always a bad thing. I’ve realized what I used to be was not my best. I realized that I was not a productive person, not a team player. But Fork Union has made me better, stronger, smarter, and prouder. I feel a sense of belonging; I feel safe. My kids will attend this Academy, and so will their kids. I hope this is found by future generations and influences the future cadets of this school. Thank you Fork Union Military Academy, and thank you God.
