On The Reviewing Stand

My son is a freshman. He attended the summer program because he failed math in 8th grade. He did so well, had so many stories, laughed so much, made so many friends that everyone who loved him said "He's going back!" As a single mom, I know I can't do for my son what FUMA can. Even his dad can't. There's something about boys and a pack. They do well. On the first day of school in the fall you will drop your son off. When you return for parents weekend, you will meet a proud young man with a light inside him you've never seen. Whatever they do, it works.

Our Mission

The mission of Fork Union Military Academy is to provide young men a college preparatory education in a residential, Christian environment. Using the best aspects of the military system, the Academy teaches its cadets responsibility, leadership, discipline, and pride by providing an atmosphere in which spiritual, mental, and physical growth can flourish.
