Coach Fletcher Arritt has dedicated his life to Fork Union Military Academy as an athlete, teacher and coach. He came as a postgraduate player in 1958 to FUMA and earned a scholarship to UVA. He has led the PG basketball team to victory in over 75% of their games during his time at the Academy. More than 150 Division I basketball players have come out of his program, and a number of his players have made it to the NBA and other professional leagues. He heads up the Summer Basketball Camp in Fork Union each year and has become a legend among his students and players.

Mrs. Baker works in the Business Office as the HR and Payroll Coordinator. Her degree from JMU was in Hotel Restaurant Management. After working for hotels and restaurants, and owning a restaurant with her husband, she concentrated on the finance and human resources side of business. She also spent 9 years working at the UVA Health System.

Prior to being named Upper School Chaplain,CPT Benson taught Spanish in the Middle School while serving as pastor of a church in Buckingham County. He also has a background in computer work and is fluent in Spanish. CPT Benson resides in Fork Union with his wife and two children.

In addition to his role in the Admissions Department, CPT Berry is an assistant coach with the Postgraduate Basketball Program. Prior to assuming the roles with admissions and PG Basketball, Captain Berry worked in the Guidance Department and was the head Prep Basketball Coach from 2001-2003. CPT Berry also served as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Charleston Southern University, worked in the Athletic Department at Virginia Commonwealth University and has done radio and television broadcasting for the Citadel and Mid-Atlantic Sport Networks. CPT Berry was a graduate of Fork Union Military Academy in 1997 and resides in Louisa, VA with his wife and 2 children.

MAJ William Blanchetti began his career at FUMA in 1985 as a History teacher at the Middle School prior to his position as Commandant. He also taught previously at the Blue Ridge School. He has four children - two sons that are FUMA graduates.

CPT Bodine resides in Scottsville, Virginia with his wife, Gail. His son, Russell, is a graduate of FUMA Class of 2010. He also has one daughter. In his spare time CPT Bodine enjoys farming, hunting and fishing.
