On Thursday, parents of new upper school cadets gathered to hear welcoming words from members of the Academy administration and staff. Speakers at this orientation session included:

While they were enjoying a fun afternoon picnic with yard games and burgers, we took the opportunity to check in with some of our postgraduate football players in short 60-second interviews to get the low down on their go down. What's it like going through Coach Shuman's 3-a-day practices in the August sun? Where did they play their high school ball? Where do they want to go play their college football?
