Academic Employment Opportunities

Fork Union Military Academy seeks candidates for faculty openings for academic year 2011-2012. The Middle School has an opening for 7th English/History Teacher. Preference will be given to candidates with a degree/certification in English education and with teaching experience at the middle school level. Preference will also be given to candidates with coaching experience in lacrosse and wrestling. Resumes should be sent to the Headmaster of the Middle School, LTC Rob Feathers at feathers@fuma.org.
In addition, there is an opening for an Upper School Chemistry Teacher for the 2011-12 school year. Candidates should possess a strong science background with an emphasis in chemistry.
