Powerlifting Team Competes in USAPL Virginia Open

Four cadets and one staff member competed in the USAPL Virginia Open on Saturday. Four of our five lifters placed first at the meet. Of the experienced lifters, Abram Pastore saw the biggest jump from his previous performance. His three-lift total jumped an impressive 80 pounds from his previous meet as he posted personal bests in all three lifts. Additionally, Curtis Garrett and Kelly Haskins each posted personal bests for 2 of the 3 lifts, while newcomer Randon Key posted a mind-blowing 1280 pound three-lift total, the largest three-lift total a cadet has posted in the last two years since this began.
