Update on return from Winter Weekend

With so many of our Cadets scheduled to return to campus today, FUMA wants to provide you with an update regarding travel and class schedules.
Here’s what we know so far:

Campus facilities have remained intact throughout the storm, and classes will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, as scheduled in both the Middle and Upper schools.

Major roads in the central Virginia region appear to be adequately passable, and the James River Bus Line has indicated that the originally scheduled bus service will not be interrupted, including those scheduled for the Northern Virginia region.  [ Click here for bus schedules for major leave weekends ]

If you have to travel today, we ask you to use your best judgment. While we encourage you to make every reasonable effort to return, your son’s safety, and your own, is our greatest concern.

While we understand that for some of our families, travel today will be impossible, please understand that many of our Cadets are currently on campus or travelling from points east and south. Although we anticipate the majority of the Corps being back in the barracks this evening, consideration for those unable to arrive on time will be given, based on location and circumstances.
