Answering the questions of affordability
For most families, enrolling a son at Fork Union Military Academy requires serious financial planning. If you're taking a look at the Academy and think that perhaps your son could benefit from being part of our Corp of Cadets, you may be surprised at just how affordable the experience can actually be. Like all of the 82 member schools accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools, Fork Union Military Academy (FUMA)is a non-profit organization. Put simply- that means that our goal here is not to make money- but to make a difference in the lives of the boys who wear our uniform. True, we have bills that must be paid. But our bottom line can best be seen on the faces, in the transcripts, and in the memories of our graduates each Spring. If your son is accepted to the Academy, we will do all that we can to help you afford his enrollment. For information about our Tuition Assistance Program, I encourage you to call me at 434.842.4321.
