Contacting your cadet in the first few weeks

The following information is posted on our For Parents section of the website and will prove useful in contacting your cadet the first few weeks of school. It is a transition for cadets and parents. As a reminder, our FUMA Forum is an excellent way to communicate with other parents regarding their experiences at FUMA. Upper School - From the Commandant's Department Over the next several weeks Upper School cadets will not have access to calling home (unless it is an emergency). They will begin their adjustment to Fork Union Military Academy, life in the barracks, daily routines and school work. The first phone call will be on September 26th. During this same time period, cadets will not have access to sending or receiving emails. Accounts are still being created in our technology center. Cadets are required to write home and will be given the opportunity to do so. You can write to your Upper School cadet. Once he receives his P.O. Box in the Cadet Post Office he will write to you with his proper mailing address. In the interim, mail can be sent directly to FUMA's main address as follows: Cadet's Full Name & Company Fork Union Military Academy PO Box 278 4744 James Madison Hwy.
