I will be at Tysons Corner Center this weekend. We are entering admissions season for the summer and fall enrollments. If you would like more information about the program at Fork Union Military Academy, please stop by the kiosk, which is located on the second floor of the mall, just outside Macy's main entrance.
Our Summer program beings on July 5th this year and runs through the 31st.
If you cannot make it to the kiosk, but have questions, please call me at 434.842.4205.
As we had our last chapel service before Spring Break, we looked at Proverbs 26:11 - "As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly" (NKJV). I reminded the cadets that we here at FUMA try to give them Godly instruction based on the teachings of Jesus Christ so that they might be able to make the right decisions in life. And when they find themselves on leave this coming week, they encounter temptations that have led them astray in the past.
Pennies For Patients is a school and youth program to help raise money for students and youth who have been stricken with Leukemia and Lymphoma. FUMA is participating in this program and we hope we can help in finding a cure with our money raised.

A team of 24 Middle School and Upper School cadets completed their final night of calling on Tuesday, March 9th. The team was successful in raising over $118,270 in gifts and pledges for Fork Union Military Academy - a first in the history of the Phonathon.
The Development Team has been raising money through the Phonathon for over 15 years and each year the goal continues to increase. Last year the team was successful in collecting close to 80% of the monies which were pledged and they hope that this year will yield even better results.

Today in chapel, we looked at the message found in Zephaniah 3:5 - "...every new day [God] does not fail..." The cadets were reminded that even though people in our lives can sometimes let us down, God is always there for us. The illustration used was our daily sunrises as a visible gift from God that each new day brings hope.
