Prep Baseball wins Scrimmage
The prep baseball started off the year with a scrimmage against Buckingham High School on Tuesday night, March 4th. The game was called after 5 innings due to darkness setting in, but the FUMA Blue Devils took the win at 2-1. Pitchers that evening were Sweeney, Stout, and Berscak. Catchers were Nolan and Clements. Standouts during the game included Cole Herod at 1 for 3, single stolen base and scored a run. Mark Royer 1 for 2, double and 1 RB and John Miley, walk stolen base and scored a run. It was a good way to start the season and the Blue Devils will take on Hargrave Military Academy, Tuesday March 11th in Chatham, VA.
