Orienteering Takes Third Place
The FUMA Orienteering Team traveled to Athens, TX, and claimed third place at the National Interscholastic Orienteering Championships. Senior and team Captain, Dale Helm, led the charge, finishing 5th. Josh Timmons and Jon Snyder also added finishes in the top ten of all the boys at the meet. The team, though inexperienced, conquered some of the best teams from across the nation including the states of Washington, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. At the JV Level, John Delekto finished 9th of 82 competitors in his first Interscholastic experience.
