Jr. Prep vs. Woodberry Forest
Yesterday the Junior Prep team traveled to Woodberry Forest to a rematch game. While the game was very close until the last inning, FUMA came out on top 8 to 4.
FUMA got on the board early with a two run homer by Thomas Eddins of Green County, VA. The game went back and forth with both teams having opportunities for big innings, but the defense of both teams kept it close. The team used three pitchers in the game to keep arms healthy and to keep the other team off balance. Justin Edell started the game, followed by Russell Bodine. Finally, Taylor Germain closed the game out. In the 6th inning we took a one run lead, then in the 7th inning the bats began to ring and the victory was sealed.
Highlights compliments of Brian Haney
