Four Middle School Cadets are Johns Hopkins Scholars
For many years Johns Hopkins University has conducted a nation wide search to identify academically talented young people. Students who scored at or above the 95th percentile on a nationally normed achievement test are invited to participate in the search. These students then take the January SAT and/or ACT exam right along with high school seniors. We were delighted to have ten middle school students eligible to participate in the search this year.
By scoring above the national average for college bound seniors, Davey Brackett, Tim Gaylor, Nate Richardson and Adam VanAlstyne were named Hopkins Scholars for the 2006-2007 school year. The highest congratulations are in order to these fine students. For photos go to FUMA Photos.
