Cadet Matt Davis qualifies for Boston Marathon
Competing in his first 26.2 mile marathon race ever, Cadet Matt Davis finished the race with a time of 3 hours, 35 minutes - good enough to qualify for the 2008 Boston Marathon.
Cadet Davis placed 6th in his age group (men, 15 to 19) and placed 333rd overall out of more than 2,000 registered runners in the race.
Now a senior, Cadet Davis has been training in his free time, running distances of 15 miles or greater, in preparation for his first marathon race.
