Civics Day Activities Planned

Cadets will have a chance to learn about U.S. government on Thursday, October 12th during an annual Civics Day event held in the Beatty Library on campus. Fork Union Military Academy will host again this year the Democratic and Republican party canidates in the area to speak on their views in the upcoming election. Representatives will be available to answer questions beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Library and a debate will be held at 11:00 a.m. between the congressional candidates Virgil Goode (R) and Al Weed (D).
