Officers Training at Fort Lee

Cadet officers had a little more than basic shoe shining and drill practice in store for them when they returned to campus the end of August for officers' training. For the past sixteen years, cadet officers have traveled to Fort Lee to endure three days of intense training. "The objective is to identify leadership qualities and capacities within cadets that have already shown some desire and potential for leadership and slot them into the 40-plus officer positions at the Academy," quotes Lt.Col. Al Ivens, Upper School Commandant.
