Jr. Prep Baseball

The FUMA Jr. Prep baseball team lost a heartbreaker on Thursday afternoon six to five in an eight inning battle with the Saints from St. Chris. Ron Berscak pitched six and two-thirds innings and striking out one. Bryn Barham came in for the final inning and a half and struck out three. The Blue Devils were led at the plate by Justin Fregeau's long double to left-center field, Josh Brown's two singles, Ron Berscak's single, and David Millhouse's single. After scoring one run in the first inning, the Saints tied it up in their half of the first. After finally taking the lead four to three in the sixth inning, the Saints overcame the deficit by scoring the winning run in their bottom half of the eighth inning. The Blue Devils will close out the regular season with a trip to Christ Church on Tuesday May 16th.
