JV Lacrosse Wins, Prep Loses to Tidewater Opponents

The JV lax team competed against Christchurch for their second game on Thursday. Winning their first game at home, FUMA players expected to have to work for a second victory playing on Christchurch's home turf. Coming out sluggish, the first quarter ended with the Blue Devils trailing 3 to 0. Rallying, the team pushed back hard over the last three quarters, winning 6 to 3.

The Blue Devils prep lacrosse team experienced their fourth loss this season against the highly-ranked team of Norfolk Academy. FUMA fought hard, ending the first quarter respectably and trailing only by 2. The wet and exhausted defense, however, could not stop the constant assault of rain and skilled NA players. The game ended as dismal as the weather, 22 to 2.
