Prep BB Outlasts Saints

Prep Basketball won in overtime vs. St. Christopher's school on Saturday by a final score of 68-64. Senior Lemond Lee hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation to tie the game and send it in to overtime. The Blue Devil's continued to shoot a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line in the overtime period to seal the victory. Fork Union was led by Lee with 24 points and RJ Hembrick who had 18. Lee also had a game-high 16 rebounds for Fork Union. The Prep team has improved its record to 8-1 overall and 6-0 in the Prep League. They will face Hargrave Military at home today, January 16, at 4:30pm.
